“I Saw 3 Ships” for STRING ORCHESTRA

I Saw 3 Ships is a fun and festive Celtic-style arrangement of this popular Christmas carol. The Violin 3/Viola part is very simple–limited to just a few notes and repetitive rhythms. The Violin 2 part is slightly more challenging, but contains no altered fingerings . The Violin 1 part is the most challenging, and contains some low 2’s. The middle section provides the Cellos & Basses with an opportunity to play the melody. Your beginning musicians will love playing along with the energetic rhythm track (included in the download file along with the PDF score & parts), but this arrangement works equally well with the piano accompaniment.
